Anderson, Cherki And Gvardiol To Start | 4-2-3-1 Manchester City Predicted Lineup Vs AEK Manchester City will entertain AEK Athens at the Etihad Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Mancunian club managed to earn a hard-fought 3-2 win over Ipswich Town recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game. Enzo Maresca will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this clash. Elliot Anderson, Rayan Cherki and Josko Gvardiol could all play from the start of this game. 4-2-3-1 Manchester City Predicted Lineup To Face AEK Defence Gianluigi Donnarumma will operate in goal for the Mancunian club after he conceded two goals in his last outing. Ruben Dias will resume his partnership with Marc Guehi at the heart of the Man City backline as they look to keep a solid shape when defending inside his half. Abdukodir Khusanov will hope to impress as the right-back, while Josko Gvardiol looks to make a difference on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will look to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half. Rayan Ait-Nouri will provide cover for the left-back position on the bench. The talented trio of Iliman Ndiaye, Enzo Fernandez and Rayan Cherki will operate just ahead of them as part of Maresca’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if Man City want to secure a dominant win in midweek. Mateo Kovacic is a major doubt for this game, but Jeremy Doku will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required. Attack Phil Foden will spearhead Maresca’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a real threat on the offensive end of the field. Erling Haaland is expected to get a rest on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
