Confirmed: Barcelona starting lineup against PSG – Raphinha returns, no Rodri FC Barcelona will lock horns with reigning European champions PSG in a little while at Parc des Princes in the UEFA Champions League. With kickoff only a little over an hour away, Barça manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will take the field against Luis Enrique’s team. And the German tactician has made some interesting changes to the team that started against Real Betis over the weekend. The major headline is that club captain Raphinha returns to the starting XI for the first time since the international break, having recovered from his minor injury and made his comeback against Betis. Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon occupy the flanks for the visitors and will pose a major threat to the Parisian giants. Another huge decision that Flick has made is to bench marquee summer signing and influential midfielder Rodri. The World Cup winner has been rested by the Barcelona boss, with Marc Bernal taking his place as Pedri’s partner in midfield. Dani Olmo gets the nod over Fermin Lopez in the No. 10 role. Meanwhile, Gerard Martin has recovered from his discomfort suffered over the weekend and is fit to start at the heart of the defence, partnering Pau Cubarsi. Xavi Espart and Joao Cancelo line up as the full-backs while Joan Garcia continues in goal.
