Boca midfielder and Neymar taunt Thiago Mendes after Vasco's exit 👀
Boca midfielder and Neymar taunt Thiago Mendes after Vasco's exit 👀 After Vasco were knocked out by Boca Juniors in the Copa Sudamericana semifinal at the Maracanã, Argentine midfielder Leonel Flores posted an edited image on social media showing him tearing apart the Rio club’s crest. The taunt was a direct response to Vasco defensive midfielder Thiago Mendes, who had posted a similar image targeting the Argentine side after winning the first leg, a move that led to racist abuse online. Tensions spilled onto the pitch after the final whistle, with coaching staff having to intervene to prevent a scuffle between the players. After the match, Thiago Mendes also got some stick from someone he has had a long-running feud with since their days in France. So, what did you think of the taunt? HAVE YOUR SAY!
