Confirmed: Real Madrid starting lineup against RB Leipzig

Confirmed: Real Madrid starting lineup against RB Leipzig As Real Madrid get set to take on RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League later tonight, manager Jose Mourinho has announced the starting lineup that will take the field at the Santiago Bernabeu. The manager has made some interesting changes, keeping one eye on the first El Clasico of the season against Barcelona on Sunday. Eduardo Camavinga, who has seen minutes be hard to come by this season, gets a rare start for Los Blancos today, where he partners up with Bernardo Silva in the double pivot. Meanwhile, Mourinho has also recalled Vinicius Jr. to the starting XI, with the Brazilian returning to the side after missing the league game vs Sevilla due to suspension. He slots in on the left wing, with Yan Diomande dropping out of the side. Arda Guler moves back to the right flank after featuring in the double pivot at the weekend, while Jude Bellingham continues as the attacking midfielder, operating behind Kylian Mbappe. In defence, the manager has once again opted to start with Federico Valverde as his right-back ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Denzel Dumfries. Meanwhile, Alvaro Carreras replaces Marc Cucurella at left-back whereas Antonio Rudiger slots in as Dean Huijsen’s partner at centre-back in place of Ibrahima Konate. Thibaut Courtois continues to man the Real Madrid goal as usual.
