📋 Palmeiras line-up confirmed to face Fluminense The time has come! Palmeiras and Fluminense face off on Wednesday night (21) in the second leg of their Copa Libertadores semifinal. Kickoff is coming up at 9:30 p.m. (Brasília time) at Nubank. The other finalist will be decided on Thursday (22), when Flamengo face Estudiantes after a 0–0 draw in the first leg. Uruguayan referee Esteban Ostojich will officiate. TV Globo, ge tv and Paramount+ will broadcast the match. How the tie stands 🆚 After winning 2–1 at the Maracanã, Verdão only need a draw in front of their home fans. They are aiming to reach their eighth Libertadores final and chase a fourth title. Tricolor need to win by two goals to advance in regulation time. A one-goal win would send the tie to a penalty shootout. They are seeking their third Libertadores final and a second title. Palmeiras 🟢⚪ Abel Ferreira has Giay and Gustavo Gómez available again after they served suspensions in the Brasileirão. Marlon Freitas and Arias, who were rested for part of the match against Athletico, also return to the starting lineup. One reason for optimism is their good form since the last international break. They have picked up four wins while playing good football. Fluminense 🇭🇺 Marcão welcomes back the players who were rested for part of the match against Santos. Renê is expected to reclaim his starting spot at left-back. There is a question mark in attack over whether Canobbio or Serna will start. The big mystery surrounding Martinelli's involvement, however, has been resolved. The No. 8—who sprained his knee in the first leg—has been named in the squad, but is not guaranteed a place in the starting XI. After a good run, Flu now need to turn things around following three straight defeats. The lineup has not yet been announced . This article was translated into English by Artificial Intelligence.
