Friday feeling in the Brasileirão! Mineirão recap and updated table 📊 The 2026 Brasileirão was already in action this Friday (23). Cruzeiro versus Remo kicked off the competition's 32nd round in Belo Horizonte in front of 29,516 fans. Check out what happened at the Mineirão, the updated standings and the remaining fixtures in round #32 below. First-half goal makes the difference Remo did more than just sit back and wait for counterattacks in the first half. Jajá posed the biggest threat, forcing Otávio into action. But Cruzeiro had more of the play. The goal, however, only came just before halftime through Fabrício Bruno (49'). The second half saw little cutting edge from either side. And just one shot on target. Despite a far-from-convincing performance, the Foxes did their part to move into third place before Athletico's match. They lost Arroyo to a possible injury ahead of the upcoming derby, but none of their players one booking away from suspension picked up a yellow card. The side from Pará, meanwhile, remain deep in the relegation zone. They are seven points behind the team currently in 16th place.
