Confirmed: Real Madrid squad list to face Barcelona in El Clasico | La Liga

Confirmed: Real Madrid squad list to face Barcelona in El Clasico | La Liga Real Madrid will face off against arch-rivals FC Barcelona tomorrow at the Spotify Camp Nou in the first El Clasico of the 2026/27 season. The Merengues are trailing their eternal rivals by six points in the La Liga table and will be intent on cutting down that gap with a victory on Sunday night. Ahead of the trip to Catalonia, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has announced the squad list of players available at his disposal for the Clasico . Real Madrid will go into the contest without superstar forward Vinicius Jr., who has been hit with a four-match ban in La Liga, and has already served one of those, missing last weekend’s game against Sevilla. Having featured in the midweek win over RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League, Vinicius will once again watch on from the sidelines tomorrow. In addition to the Brazilian, Real Madrid are also without Rodrygo Goes, Raul Asencio, and Ferland Mendy for the trip to Barcelona. In Vinicius’ absence, summer signing Yan Diomande, who has been in fine form since returning from the international break, is expected to start again on the left flank. Eder Militao, who made his comeback after a six-month layoff this past weekend, has been called up once again, although a start is unlikely for the Brazilian defender. Fellow Brazilian Endrick will also be pushing for a start after impressing against Sevilla. It will also be interesting to see how Mourinho plans to use Real Madrid captain Federico Valverde – as a right-back or a right-winger, or even reinstate him to the midfield.
