The Mancunian club made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the sixth minute when Nicolas Jackson found the back of the net. Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline. Erling Haaland equalised for the visitors with a good header in the 52nd minute.
