In typical fashion; Arsenal defender scores first goal for the club 💪 It took the reigning Premier League champions all of seven minutes to take the lead against Everton. And unsurprisingly, it was a trademark Arsenal opener. The goal came courtesy of a Martin Ødegaard corner and a subsequent goalmouth scramble which saw summer signing Ezri Konsa bundle the ball over the line. While PL fans have become accustomed Arsenal's corner routine, it is actually their first set-piece goal in all competitions (excluding penalties) since May. Meanwhile, it is also Konsa's first goal for the club after the England international made the move from Aston Villa. Notably, it was the centre-back's former club who did Arsenal a favour by beating league leaders Manchester City earlier on Saturday. And now, thanks to their new signing, Arsenal look poised to go level with Man City at the top of the table.
