Bombshell approach confirms it, Liverpool's dream signings now crystal clear

Bombshell approach confirms it, Liverpool's dream signings now crystal clear Liverpool have made their dream signings crystal clear. A bombshell approach proves that. Liverpool are in the process of weighing up their transfer targets for 2027. Some of those may arrive in January, after all, and that's really not far away. This has all been made 'easier' by their mixed start to the campaign. It's clear for all to see that Liverpool have some elite players and a framework that could become a true contender in the league. At the same time, there are some fairly basic problems with the team that need sorting. Doing so would quickly move the team forward and we imagine the Reds are quite keen to sort things in January if it's possible. The biggest is in midfield. Liverpool lack a controlling midfield player - someone who can solidify things through the middle with and without the ball. Such players don't come cheap but that isn't necessarily a problem for the right player. And it appears Liverpool do know who the right ones are. Liverpool's midfield plans Sky Germany reported on Friday that Liverpool have Felix Nmecha in their crosshairs. Enough so that they've made an approach to his entourage about a potential move - or at least, they're sounding one out. But the really interesting line here isn't that Liverpool like Nmecha it's that despite their enquiry, he isn't the top target. Or even in the top two, it seems. Liverpool prefer Lamine Camara and Alex Scott. Both players are thought to be available in 2027, though neither on the cheap. We imagine the Nmecha questions are more about locking in an alternative should both of those moves collapse. And it also highlights that interest in Camara and Scott must be far along. They're beyond the level of merely asking about availability, clearly, and it's pretty safe to say at this stage that they're the priority - or at least, as per common reporting on the matter. We'd prefer a move for Camara, admittedly, as he's the more solid defender. Scott feels a little too similar to Liverpool's current options for a signing that almost certainly approaches £100m. That's not to say Camara would be much cheaper, especially with his start to the season at AS Monaco. His price keeps rising and that, ultimately, could lead Liverpool back to Nmecha.
