📹 Neymar takes the bait, gets booked and misses Santos v Palmeiras Amid a torrential downpour at Vila Belmiro, Santos are trailing Bahia 1-0 this Saturday (24) in Matchday 32 of the 2026 Brasileirão. During the first half, Neymar once again drew attention for something other than his talent with the ball at his feet. After a heavy challenge involving Rodrigo Nestor near the goal line, the Santos star took exception to the tackle and threw the ball at the Bahia midfielder. Nestor, in turn, played the "slapstick actor" and fell to the ground holding his face, claiming he had been hit in the face. A major confrontation broke out involving players from both teams, and Neymar received a yellow card. The booking means Santos' number 10 will miss the derby against Palmeiras next Wednesday (28), in Matchday 33 of the league. Neymar continued arguing with Nestor until both were given a verbal warning by the referee. The Santos star even got into a "bust-up" with Rogério Ceni, shoving the Bahia coach.
