🤯 Total football? Team score lightning-fast goal with unusual tactic Is the Dutch Carousel back? English side Barrow AFC adopted an unusual strategy to score a lightning-fast goal against Forest Green in the National League (the fifth tier). It happened straight from kickoff. The move may not have been particularly stylish, but the finish made up for it. Watch the action in this footage from DAZN : Saturday's (24th) game kicked off on an already waterlogged pitch—which prompted the Barrow AFC players to try this move. The rain kept falling, however, and the match had to be suspended 14 minutes into the first half—with the score at 1–0. The original Dutch Carousel was the nickname of the Netherlands national team, famous for its high-intensity football in the 1970s—especially at the 1974 World Cup. 📸 Featured photo: BarrowAFC/X This article was translated into English by Artificial Intelligence.
