Representative of Real Madrid star speaks out on player’s future amid exit links – “He needs to play” After the worst possible start to the season, in which he struggled to get enough game-time under Jose Mourinho, Endrick is having a resurgence of sorts after the international break. The Brazilian played a crucial role in Real Madrid’s comeback win over AS Roma in the Champions League and played 70 minutes in the 4-1 win over Sevilla. Despite that, Endrick’s future at Real Madrid remains uncertain , as there is no guarantee he will become a first-team regular anytime soon. He went on to explain that conversations are ongoing, with Endrick keen to make the most of a career he knows is finite. “The future of Endrick? It’s a constantly evolving process, and we need to see how things develop between now and the end of 2026, before the winter transfer window opens. We recently met with Endrick in Madrid and had a great conversation. “He’s a very talented guy and eager to play, so we’ll see what happens. He loves Madrid, the team he’s on, and his teammates, but when you think about the length of his career… you realize it’s short, and you want to make the most of it,” he added. (Photo by Angel Martinez/Getty Images) The uncertainty surrounding his game time has inevitably alerted suitors, with Endrick’s profile making him a hugely attractive proposition. The Brazilian international has already been linked with a move for Italian giants AS Roma and AC Milan and it won’t be surprising to see more clubs lining up for him as we move closer towards the January transfer window. It is clear that Endrick needs regular elite-level football to continue his development, something he is unlikely to find at Real Madrid in the immediate future. That reality is said to be making him seriously consider his options. The situation is nothing new, either, with Madrid having loaned him to Olympique Lyonnais in the second half of last season. He stayed put in the summer at Mourinho’s request, but the Portuguese has since struggled to carve out a role for him, even after his return from an early-season injury. For now, the hope within his camp is that his recent contributions earn him greater involvement. Should that fail to materialise, though, a mid-season switch to a club offering guaranteed minutes may prove increasingly difficult to resist.
