Photo by Marco Luzzani/Getty Images Sky Sports in Germany report that Arsenal are seriously interested in Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi , having had the player on their radar last summer, and continuing to monitor his development. A January transfer is currently considered unlikely, as those close to the player don’t expect him to move in the winter window. But it looks like the topic will resurface as the summer approaches. Sky add that Arsenal aren’t the only club in the mix. Multiple top clubs are reportedly monitoring the situation, with Tresoldi under contract until 2029. Photo by Marco Luzzani/Getty Images Arsenal were linked with Tresoldi earlier this year, touted as one of three clubs pushing to sign the player over the summer. But Club Brugge felt that he should stay for at least one more season, and Tresoldi didn’t push them to change their minds. Even before the summer, Christian Falk reported in April that the Gunners were seriously interested and the favourites to make the signing. Arsenal obviously went on to sign Christos Tzolis from the same club, and the winger had made a strong start to life in north London before his injury over the international break. One of those was against Premier League opposition in Aston Villa . Tresoldi also plays for the Germany u21s, for whom he has 16 goals in 27 matches. He scored four in three for the u21 national side over the September-October break. The young striker appears to have a big future, but it looks like Arsenal will have to wait to make their move for him. Photo by Stuart Franklin/Getty Images
