‘We try to bring joy to our fans, to neutrals and to our haters’ – Ousmane Dembélé picks up PSG’s Men’s Club of the Year award

‘We try to bring joy to our fans, to neutrals and to our haters’ – Ousmane Dembélé picks up PSG’s Men’s Club of the Year award For the second year in a row, PSG have scooped the Men’s Club of the Year award at Monday’s Ballon d’Or ceremony, held at London’s Palladium Theatre to honour the 70th anniversary of Stanley Matthews’ inaugural win. Paris Saint-Germain are rewarded for winning a second consecutive UEFA Champions League. Like last year, PSG’s delegation was stretched thin considering that Luis Enrique’s team played at the same time. Les Parisiens returned to the top of the Ligue 1 standings in winning against Lyon courtesy of goals from Senny Mayulu and Mika Godts. 2024-2025 Men’s Ballon d’or winner Ousmane Dembélé missed out through injury after sustaining a thigh strain last week against FC Barcelona in the UCL. The France international striker made the trip to London to attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony and pick up the Men’s Club of the Year award for his side. “ On behalf of PSG, thank you “, Dembélé said. “ We have created an incredible group and club, we fight for each other and we try to bring joy to our fans, to neutrals and to our haters .” GFFN | Bastien Cheval
