Mora: “Playing for Gasperini is fun. I want to be a key player for Roma.” Rodrigo Mora was instrumental in Roma’s 4-2 victory over Cagliari, with a goal and a decisive pass that set up Donyell Malen’s rebound. The Portuguese player spoke to DAZN after the match. Is it a victory for the young players? “Yes, it’s a young group, but they’re ready. Both the youngsters and the more experienced players are playing. Everyone gives their all and makes this journey possible by giving their all.” How important is being decisive for you? Do you feel more comfortable on the left? “Yes, I dream of being a key player. I don’t always score or provide assists, but tonight I scored and helped my teammates. I prefer to start from the left and move inside, but we have to play everywhere to do our best.” How many headed goals have you scored? “I don’t score many headers, but they often forget the ‘low’ one.” How much fun is it to play with Gasperini? “The coach always wants to play up front; it’s difficult to do that so often. But it’s fun to play with this philosophy.”
