Serie A: Milan vs. Bologna – Probable line-ups and where to watch on TV
Serie A: Milan vs. Bologna – Probable line-ups and where to watch on TV Christian Pulisic and Luka Modric are among the players that Ruben Amorim might be minded to rest for Milan’s upcoming Serie A match against Bologna on Wednesday evening, ahead of the upcoming Derby della Madonina against Inter this weekend. A full round of Serie A fixtures is taking place this midweek, which got off to a flyer on Tuesday night with 18 goals scored across three fixtures for an average of six goals per game: Lazio beat 10-man Sassuolo 6-2 at the Mapei Stadium, Roma rose to a 4-2 victory over Cagliari at the Olimpico, while Cesc Fabregas and Como defeated Torino 3-1 at the Stadio Sinigaglia. Milan will host Bologna in San Siro at 17.30 GMT (18.30 CET) on Thursday evening. (Photo by Timothy Rogers/Getty Images) The Rossoneri bounced back after a Europa League defeat against Bournemouth with a 2-0 win away against Udinese in Serie A over the weekend, which puts them on 18 points after eight matches heading into tonight’s game. Ruben Amorim’s side are one of four teams still unbeaten in the Italian top flight. Bologna were also victorious over the weekend, claiming just their second Serie A victory over the season. Rafaelle Palladino’s side sit in 13th place with eight points from eight games ahead of kick-off against Milan. In terms of the formations, Amorim is likely to stick with the same system that brought victory over Udinese a few days ago, but will have to rotate a few of his players in the middle of a busy run of fixtures. Adrien Rabiot, Diego Moreira and Mario Gila are set to miss out through injury, as are Alexis Saelemaekers, Samuel Chukwueze and Matteo Gabbia. Bologna do not have European football to contend with and according to Sky Sport Italia, are less likely to make sweeping changes to their starting line-up. There is a chance, even, that Palladino decides to opt in favour of momentum and keep his winning XI together for the Milan trip.
