Report: Real Madrid revive interest in €120 million-rated Manchester City midfielder for 2027 transfer

Report: Real Madrid revive interest in €120 million-rated Manchester City midfielder for 2027 transfer Real Madrid have reportedly revived their interest in Enzo Fernandez as they begin planning a major midfield reinforcement for 2027.  According to Bernabeu Digital , the Spanish giants are once again considering the Argentine international after previously exploring the possibility of signing him last summer, with Manchester City’s uncertain situation potentially creating an opportunity. The Real Madrid hierarchy is understood to be dissatisfied with the lack of a major midfield addition during the previous summer transfer window.  With Bernardo Silva the only arrival, the club believes further investment is required to strengthen an area that remains central to their long-term sporting plans. Enzo Fernandez has consequently returned to their radar, although he is not the only midfielder being monitored ahead of the next major transfer window. Real Madrid reconsider Enzo Fernandez Real Madrid’s interest in strengthening their midfield has become increasingly important as the club assesses their options for the coming seasons.  Real Madrid have revived their interest in Enzo Fernandez. On that note, Enzo Fernandez is among the players being evaluated as Los Blancos look to identify a quality addition for 2027. The Argentine midfielder’s situation at Manchester City could also influence the possibility of a transfer.  The report suggests that the uncertainty surrounding the English club could create an opportunity, particularly if City face the prospect of relegation and Fernandez begins considering a departure. Such a scenario would be a significant development in the transfer market, although it is crucial to note that any move remains dependent on how City’s circumstances develop and whether the player becomes available. There are other options too Enzo Fernandez is not the only option on Real Madrid’s radar. As reported before, Alexis Mac Allister and Alex Scott are two additional names featuring prominently on the club’s recruitment shortlist.  Both players are expected to be monitored throughout the coming months as Real Madrid evaluate their options before making a decision in 2027. For now, Real Madrid’s interest should be viewed as part of the club’s recruitment planning rather than evidence of an imminent transfer.  Whether Fernandez eventually becomes the leading candidate will depend on his situation in Manchester, the availability of alternative targets and Real Madrid’s assessment of their midfield requirements.
