Watch every Serie BKT match live with LaB Channel on OneFootball: subscribe for just €9.99 a month! It was a decision the coach found hard to understand, inevitably sparking doubts, protests and the comments we bring you below. 🤯 Penalty awarded, then overturned by the referee after OFR Referee Ferrieri Caputi initially points to the spot for a handball by Milla as Busio controls the ball. A lengthy VAR check follows, culminating in an on-field review: at first, everything suggested the check was to establish whether the contact had occurred inside or outside the box. After several minutes, however, comes the reversal: no penalty and no punishable offence . So much for checking the location: the referee overturns the initial decision because there was " no punishable offence " and awards possession to Como. The decision leaves Luca Marelli, DAZN's refereeing analyst , far from convinced. He disagrees completely: “ The arm moves outwards, not inwards! So many on-field decisions have been upheld, and this comes nowhere near warranting an OFR ” . 🤬 Nicola hits out: "The AIA must answer for the penalty decision!" The Venezia coach spoke to DAZN and inevitably focused on the incident: "We can analyse the technical side of the game. In our last four matches, we've faced Napoli, Genoa, Inter and Como. In the last two, they didn't steamroller us. We tried to keep our shape and we can keep working, but it's difficult when you create the conditions to do your job and tip the balance, only for our lads to be given reason to lose their cool. We were at risk again at the end too. Thank goodness Kaiki's dive was spotted. The referee did her job; I don't understand what happened afterwards. The AIA will have to answer for that ".
