🤯 Nzola breaks a hoodoo, Isaksen stunner: Lazio-Cagliari 1-1 at 45'! Plenty of possession for Lazio, counterattacks from Cagliari and a deep defensive line to shut down the Biancocelesti's direct play: that is the story of the first half, which ends 1-1 between Lazio and Cagliari. Nzola's surprise opener in the 21st minute (his second goal in as many games) is cancelled out by yet another Gustav Isaksen goal in the 36th minute (also his second in consecutive games). 💥Nzola makes it 1-0! Goals in consecutive games for the first time in almost 6 years 🔙 Lazio keep the ball and twice manage shots from the edge of the box, but Cagliari's strategy proves effective: the quick give-and-go passing introduced by Gattuso initially finds little room against the Sardinians' deep defence, and the visitors make it 1-0 in the 21st minute with their first shot on target. Fadera breaks down the flank and sends in a cross. Belahyane's deflection falls kindly for Fadera himself, who gets another chance to cross for Nzola in the box. The striker turns it in at the near post from close range. For Nzola it is his second goal in consecutive games after scoring against Roma: he had not done that since January 2021 (5 years and 10 months ago), when he was playing for Spezia. 🤩 Isaksen equalises with another stunner Lazio push higher up the pitch, though, and Gustav Isaksen produces another moment of magic: a lovely combination between Noslin (who drifts out wide to link up play) and Taylor sets Isaksen up to shoot from the edge of the box: his curling effort on the run flies into the top corner. It is a second goal in consecutive games for the Dane too, taking his league tally to four: he needs just one more to match the five he scored last season.
