He's ready to sign, Star confirms new Liverpool owners could lead to deal

He's ready to sign, Star confirms new Liverpool owners could lead to deal One star has confirmed that Liverpool's new owners could hold the key to a deal. He's ready to sign on the dotted line. Liverpool have deals to get done over the next seven or eight months. Planning for their future beyond the 2027 transfer window is already underway and that means some enormous decisions must take place. Is Virgil van Dijk getting a new contract? What about Alisson Becker? Can the current batch of wingers work together? Is Giorgi Mamardashvili capable to taking the no.1 shirt? And that's just half of it. One major area of concern is the midfield, which doesn't look entirely 'right' this season - and was a struggle to get working last season, too. Liverpool will almost certainly address things next year, possibly in January, and that means deciding who stays as much as deciding who arrives. One player, in particular, faces a very uncertain future. New owners could change everything Alexis Mac Allister has been public about wanting a new contract at Liverpool. The club refused to offer him one in the summer, however, even while giving deals to Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai. Mac Allister made it clear that he does want a new deal with Liverpool, and that's something that feels a lot more likely thanks to his form this season. The Argentine has been one of the team's best players and quite unquestionably their best midfielder. Surely Liverpool would want to hand out a new deal to someone who Andoni Iraola has quickly come to depend on ? That just makes complete sense and if this current group in charge don't see that, perhaps the next lot will. Mac Allister spoke to Sky Sports about his contract situation and talked about the potential new ownership at Liverpool. 1892 Holdings now own a little over a third of the Reds and have the option to buy the club outright within the next 10 months. They could ultimately decide to give Mac Allister that new contract. Certainly, all previous decision making goes out the window. "There is a new ownership coming into the club,” said the player. “So everything can happen and we will see. Whether it is this season or next season, we will see what happens. “But right now I'm just enjoying my football, enjoying playing for this amazing club that is one of the best in the world. And we will see. We will see in the future what happens.”
