Kylian Mbappe scores against 24th La Liga opponent to extend remarkable record Kylian Mbappe continued his extraordinary scoring run for Real Madrid by finding the net against Racing Santander in the 3-0 victory at El Sardinero .  The goal completed another milestone for the French forward, who has now scored against every opponent he has faced in La Liga since joining the Spanish giants. Racing were the latest addition to that list, having previously never faced Mbappe in the Spanish top flight.  Simply put, his goal means he has now found the net against 24 different La Liga opponents. Mbappe maintains perfect scoring record against La Liga opponents Before the meeting with Racing, Mbappe had already scored against all 23 opponents he had encountered in La Liga, and his goal from the penalty spot extended that record to 24, with Deportivo La Coruna among the teams he is yet to face. He has failed to score in only four of his 14 appearances across all competitions, finding the net in each of the other ten matches. His domestic contribution has been particularly impressive, with Mbappe scoring 12 goals in La Liga, placing him just behind Raphinha, who leads the scoring charts with 15. Real Madrid forward keeps pace with Europe’s leading scorers The French forward has scored 15 times in total this season, averaging a goal every 83.5 minutes, and if we include his three assists, he has been involved in a goal every 69.6 minutes. Raphinha ahead in race for goalscoring honours Although Mbappe is setting an impressive pace, Raphinha currently holds the advantage among the leading scorers across Europe’s five major leagues.  The Brazilian has registered 17 goals in all competitions, compared with Mbappe’s 15. Erling Haaland follows with 13, while Lamine Yamal has scored 12.  Mbappe could have added further goals to his tally, having struck the woodwork four times this season. Only Michael Olise, with five attempts hitting the frame, has recorded more.
