After consecutive games against Manchester City and Barcelona in the Champions League, tonight’s game for PSG against Villarreal might feel like a bit of a breather. But manager Luis Enrique isn’t allowing anyone to get the idea that this will be easy. His words in yesterday’s press conference were heavily focused on making sure there would be no subconscious easing off. “Run the whole game” – PSG manager clear on his aims Luis Enrique watches PSG from the touchline. We know how difficult it is to win and play every match away from home,” Luis Enrique said in quotes picked up by RMC Sport. “If you think that with the results we’ve had since the start of the season we’ll win the game tomorrow, you’re wrong. It’s impossible if we don’t have the ambition, the quality and the intention to run the whole game.” Of course he would say that – that’s his job as a manager. But if there’s one thing that Lucho has showed he’s exceptionally skilled at it’s continuing to get his elite players putting in maximum effort, even in games where it would be easy for them to lose focus. We expect the same tonight. In other news… Luis Enrique has been pushing Joao Neves on to bigger and better things this season by setting him very specific goals. Achraf Hakimi was another player who got a talking to from Lucho despite some sparkling form.
