Cristante: “We cannot allow these comebacks. We need to revisit our mistakes.” Bryan Cristante spoke to Sky Sport after the defeat against Manchester United. “We came in well, we played a great first half that could have ended even more than 2-0. Then there are the opponents, who are strong and when they push forward and find the right moment, they become difficult to contain.” “We had to do something more, especially because we’d been through it before. That penalty… I didn’t watch it again, but from the pitch it looked very dubious.” “When they get going, they’re strong players and difficult to contain. We need to take a good look at it and understand where we’re going wrong; it’s becoming a bit too frequent.” “We definitely need to be more focused at the back, the whole team. We were 2-0 up, and every now and then we can drop back and keep the game going, letting the others play, but without conceding goals. We need to revisit it and understand where we went wrong.” “We played a great half, against a strong team despite not being in their best form, and in a stadium like this. We need to take the positives, but we know this is a point and we need to improve. We will do it, we need to understand where we went wrong so we don’t make these mistakes again.”
