Jarma Mohamed joined Jersey Bulls in the summer [Lauren Queree/Jersey Bulls] Jarma Mohamed has become the first Jersey Bulls player to win an international call-up while playing for the club. The 21-year-old has been recalled to the Somalia squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana. The summer signing for the eighth tier side previously featured for Somalia against Mauritius in March. "This is an incredibly proud moment for everyone associated with Jersey Bulls Football Club," director Ian Horswell said. "For Jarma to become the first player in our club's history to receive a full senior international call-up whilst representing Jersey Bulls is a fantastic achievement, both for him personally and for our football club. "Since arriving in Jersey, Jarma has embraced everything about the island and our club. "His attitude, commitment and professionalism have been exemplary, and he is a tremendous example to his teammates and the young players coming through our academy. "We are an amateur football club with big ambitions, and seeing one of our players recognised on the international stage is another significant milestone in our journey." Somalia travel to Ghana on 12 November, with the home fixture following four days later. Africa Cup Of Nations group tables
