Bayer Leverkusen’s Ibrahim Maza refers to ‘a huge dream’ the prospect of joining a club of PSG calibre Ibrahim Maza (20) has big ambitions. At just 20 years old and whilst making a name for himself in the Bundesliga, the young Algerian striker opened up in an interview with Sky Sport about his vision for the future of his career. And playing for the world’s biggest clubs is certainly part of his plan. When asked about the possibility of one day joining Paris Saint-Germain – a club with which he has recently been linked following Kvicha Kvaratskhelia’s (25) serious injury – Maza left the door wide open for a potential future transfer. ‘Of course, it would be a huge dream to play for such a big club one day,’ he admitted. ‘I think we all know what a huge club Paris is. They are one of the best clubs in the world, alongside Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal. Playing for a club like that is something not only I am working towards, but many other footballers as well.’ A product of the Hertha BSC academy, Maza joined Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025 and quickly established himself as a key player. Having been instrumental on 12 occasions (five goals, seven assists) in 44 appearances last season, the right-footed player, whose contract runs until 2030, has continued in the same vein at the start of the 2026-27 campaign, with four goals and three assists in 12 matches so far.
