Arsenal identify 2 forwards for January window

Arsenal identify 2 forwards for January window Arsenal are reportedly preparing to strengthen their attack in January, with versatility emerging as the key quality they want from any new arrival. Photo by Eddie Keogh/Getty Images Arsenal will look to strengthen their attack in January, with versatility at the top of the list when the transfer window reopens. According to Mirror Football , Mikel Arteta wants another forward capable of operating in more than one position, rather than simply adding a specialist centre-forward. Bournemouth attacker Eli Junior Kroupi and Juventus winger Kenan Yıldız are both named among the players being considered. Kroupi is described as a player Arsenal want to revisit after previous interest, although Bournemouth are reportedly reluctant to sell him midway through the season. The 20-year-old made his return from injury at the end of last month and has already grabbed an assist despite being yet to start this season. The two names offer an indication of the sort of qualities Arsenal are said to be looking for rather than evidence that a deal for either player is close. Whether either develop into a January move will depend on what their clubs are prepared to accept and how far Arsenal decide to push once the window opens. Photo by Janelle St Pierre/Getty Images
