Everton summer target Folarin Balogun likely to leave Monaco this winter, with the club also keen to offload him AS Monaco’s Folarin Balogun (25) is expected to leave the Principality club during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to reports in L’Équipe . Having come very close to signing for Everton last summer, the US international – who has 31 caps (12 goals) – is reportedly still looking to find a new challenge for the next stage of his career. This prospect would also suit ASM, who are keen to use the proceeds from his sale to rebalance their transfer budget, which was thrown into disarray by the collapse of his move to the Toffees. Under contract until 2028, his transfer could bring in a tidy sum for his club. Reinstated to Filipe Luís’s squad in mid-September, Balogun has gradually regained playing time, having featured in each of Monaco’s last five Ligue 1 matches. Against Paris FC last weekend, the 25-year-old even scored his first goal of the season, though it was not enough to prevent his side’s defeat (3-1). GFFN | Léo Aschi
