The 27-year-old is seen as a good fit into Flick’s tactical setup while his age and experience at the highest level make him a very enticing target. It had also been suggested that the Italian international would be open to making the switch to the Spotify Camp Nou , giving Barcelona’s hopes a big boost. However, Marotta has now come out to firmly close the doors on any possible departure for Bastoni. For the situation to change, the player himself may have to request a transfer from Inter while Barcelona would have to shell out a significant transfer fee.
