Riley, 25, is a product of the club's academy and has made 89 first-team appearances. He was included in the England A training squad for Friday's match against an Argentina XV. "I'm really excited – I've been at the club since I was 15 years old and I've really enjoyed it, especially the last couple of years," Riley said. "I believe we now have a good coaching set-up in place, good players in the squad and youngsters coming through. "It's shaping up to be an exciting couple of years ahead, so it was an easy decision for me." Harlequins have not disclosed the length of Riley's new deal. Head coach Jason Gilmore said: "Sam is a dynamic ball carrier and accurate lineout operator. "He's been in good form through the first block of the season and getting recognised with England A selection is thoroughly deserved. "We're pleased he has committed his future to the club, and we are looking forward to seeing him develop even further in a Harlequins jersey."
