Confirmed: Raphinha renews contract with Barcelona until 2030 Following a sensational start to the 2026/27 season, FC Barcelona have moved to secure the future of club captain Raphinha, renewing his contract until the summer of 2030. The 29-year-old superstar forward’s previous contract stood to expire in the summer of 2028, and Barça have now tied him down to the club for a couple more years until 2030. “FC Barcelona and Raphael Dias Belloli, known in the footbal world as Raphinha have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract, keeping him at the club until 30 June 2030,” the club statement read. Signed from Leeds United in the summer of 2022, Raphinha has proven to be an excellent signing for Barcelona. The Brazilian international did endure a couple of stop-start seasons under former manager Xavi Hernandez, but has taken his game to a whole new level under the tutelage of Hansi Flick. Raphinha has already made 190 appearances for Barcelona in which he has registered 94 goals and 62 assists. Having been made the team’s first captain and moved to the centre-forward position this season, the 29-year-old has thrived, plundering 19 goals along with three assists from only 13 games so far. The attacker has constantly been a target for clubs from Saudi Arabia, but has always maintained that he intends to stay at Barcelona for as long as possible. And, he has reiterated that commitment towards the club by penning a new contract that will keep him at the Spotify Camp Nou for four more years.
