Eintracht Frankfurt considering second loan for Nottingham Forest’s Arnaud Kalimuendo

Eintracht Frankfurt considering second loan for Nottingham Forest’s Arnaud Kalimuendo Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt would be keen to resign former France U21 international striker Arnaud Kalimuendo (24) on loan from struggling Premier League side Nottingham Forest FC, according to L’Equipe . Since his €30m summer move from Rennes last year, Kalimuendo’s career has gone downhill. After a tepid start to Premier League life, the Frenchman was allowed to leave on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt in January. In Germany, Kalimuendo regained some confidence. He logged seven goal contributions in 19 games. Nottingham Forest’s appointment of Oliver Glasner made no differences for Kalimuendo as he remains limited to sporadic appearances with the Tricky Trees, with whom he’s contracted until 2030. He only totals 110 minutes of competitive football this season in the Midlands. Kalimuendo’s situation has not gone unnoticed as L’Equipe reports that Eintracht Frankfurt SD Timmo Hardung has initiated contact with Nottingham Forest over a second loan for the French striker. The latter would be keen to return to Germany. GFFN | Bastien Cheval
