Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi shortlisted in Zinédine Zidane’s provisional France squad

Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi shortlisted in Zinédine Zidane’s provisional France squad Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi (20) is reportedly on the extended list of players selected by Zinédine Zidane to join the French national team, according to information from  Foot Mercato . Having suffered a metatarsal fracture last summer, he made his return to the pitch during the Cherries’ away match at Manchester United (0-3) in late October. Coming on as a substitute against Aston Villa (3-0) three days later, he then made the most of the 22 minutes he was given by Marco Rose to provide his first assist of the season against Leeds United (2-0) last weekend. Having joined the Premier League from FC Lorient in the summer of 2025, Kroupi dazzled on English pitches with his talent throughout his first season, scoring 13 goals in 33 league matches. A French Under-21 international, the right-footed player – who is also eligible to represent Portugal – could therefore use the November international break to make the leap up to the senior side.
