PSG monitoring Chelsea and Brighton target Said El Mala

PSG monitoring Chelsea and Brighton target Said El Mala Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on Cologne winger Said El Mala, who has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion. However, the French champions are not expected to pursue a January deal for the German international forward, despite their admiration. According to Sky Sport , PSG consider El Mala an interesting prospect but have no plans to sign another right-footed winger during the winter transfer window. The Ligue 1 giants are currently dealing with an injury to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but they are not preparing to bring in a replacement midway through the season. Consequently, El Mala is expected to remain at Cologne until the summer, when his future could become a major talking point. The 19-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in 34 Bundesliga appearances. His performances quickly attracted attention from England, with Chelsea, Brighton and Newcastle United among the clubs credited with an interest in his signature. El Mala ultimately stayed in Germany and has continued to play an influential role for Cologne this season, registering two goals in seven league appearances. His ability to operate in wide attacking positions, combined with his eye for goal, has made him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen their forward lines. He is a young player who has considerable room for development. Chelsea have continued to invest heavily in young attacking talent, while Brighton have established a reputation for identifying promising players before their market value rises exponentially. El Mala could appeal to both clubs, although PSG’s interest introduces another potential contender should the German winger become available next summer. A strong second half of the season could increase El Mala’s profile and the competition for his signature, leaving Cologne in a strong negotiating position when the summer transfer window opens.
