Confirmed: Real Madrid squad list to face Valencia – key duo return Real Madrid travel to Mestalla tomorrow as they take on Valencia in their final game before the second international break of the season. Ahead of the trip to face Javier Aguirre’s side, manager Jose Mourinho has announced the squad list of players available at his disposal for selection. The big news is that key midfielders Aurelien Tchouameni and Arda Guler are back in the squad after being rested for the midweek UEFA Champions League clash against AEK Athens. There had been some concerns about Tchouameni’s availability after he missed group training on Thursday. But he worked normally during today’s session and has been named in the squad, while Guler is also back. Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr. misses out of the La Liga clash as he will serve the final of his four-match ban in the league. The Brazilian international did not train with the squad today as he flew to Dubai for a commercial commitment. Raul Asencio and Rodrygo remain unavailable due to injuries while Ferland Mendy has also yet to return to the squad as he works towards regaining full fitness. Youngster Thiago Pitarch continues in the first-team squad while still waiting for a chance to make an appearance under Mourinho.
