Leicester teen scores first senior goal with FA Cup thunderbolt 💫
Leicester teen scores first senior goal with FA Cup thunderbolt 💫 The FA Cup first round action got underway this evening as League One Leicester travelled to National League North high-fliers Oxford City. Occasionally, these mismatched cup ties can throw up a few surprises, as Premier League champions Arsenal found out in the EFL Cup just over a week ago. However, any potential pre-match nerves for Russell Martin's Foxes might have been settled early on as Louis Page found the net after just 16 minutes. The 18-year-old controlled from 25 yards out and slammed an unstoppable strike past Jonny Maxted for his first senior goal for Leicester. Despite Page's rocket, Leicester couldn't extend their lead before conceding an equaliser midway through the first half.
