White has only been involved in one England squad since 2022, joining the team over the March break earlier this year. He then dropped out of the squad over the summer and in September-October due to injury issues. Speaking to the media on Friday, Tuchel explained why he’s decided to immediately recall White to his squad now that he’s fit. Bukayo Saka’s is obviously also absent from Tuchel’s squad, with no real expectation that he’ll be back in action before December. England will play a couple of Nations League fixtures over the break, looking to progress to the knockout stages.
