Como director addresses the future of former Real Madrid duo amid return links: ‘When the time comes, we will manage the situation’ The two players Real Madrid have sent to Como have both flourished astonishingly well, and while they were always top prospects, Cesc Fabregas has done a phenomenal job in shaping their profiles. Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon, both have become critical pillars in Como’s project and stellar run in the UEFA Champions League so far. They have not only been playing one of the most attractive brands of football in Europe’s top five leagues but have also surpassed all expectations, and it is clear that Paz and Ramon are both on Real Madrid’s radar. After all, both players provide solutions to departments Los Blancos are currently lacking in, and are world-class options in their own right. Como official speaks Como’s sporting director Carlalberto Ludi spoke to the media in a recent interaction where he was asked about the possibility to Real Madrid taking back both players from the club in the upcoming transfer windows. Elaborating on how Real Madrid are looking to bring back both players and how media have accurately captured the pulse, he said, “This year, people have started talking about Jacobo Ramón, but over the next two seasons, it will undoubtedly be Nico Paz’s turn.” Ramon is on Real Madrid’s radar again. Finally, he spoke on how Como would swallow the pill if Real Madrid come back to sign Paz next summer, which is their last chance to keep hold of the player. “If they exercise that option, it would be a sale that would validate the work we have done and would be important for the club. When the time comes, we will manage the situation just as we have done over the past few years.” “We have an excellent relationship with Real Madrid, but for now, we need to enjoy having this footballer with us. He is a champion,” he concluded.
