📉 Man Utd officially enter relegation zone for first time in 40 years

📉 Man Utd officially enter relegation zone for first time in 40 years Manchester United fans will want to look away from the Premier League table this Saturday.  The Red Devils are in a troubling season, with only one win in the English top flight so far, putting them on the brink of the relegation zone. Until now.  Nottingham Forest beat Manchester City 3-1 on Saturday, meaning United are temporarily 17th in the Premier League table ahead of their clash with Aston Villa. It means they are in the relegation zone after nine games or more for the first time since November 1986 - a stunning 40 years! It sees them below promoted side Coventry (17th) while above Crystal Palace (19th) and Sunderland (20th). Only two points separate United and last place in the table. Michael Carrick's men have a must-win test at Old Trafford on Monday. After an impressive Champions League comeback in Rome, will their confidence carry over in front of home fans?
